I joined BANS only after spending some time researching the idea of creating a website for the purpose of generating an income. Among my searches, I looked at eBay and found sellers offering sites for sale and those were being bid to levels near or above what BANS is asking for unlimited sites. I looked at what was being offered from all sellers and knew that in order to generate significant income, I could never afford the cost of buying sites one at a time. Now, I should be clear about the fact that I do not have extra money to throw around (which is the reason for trying to find a way to generate some extra) and that I wasn't sure what to expect (I've been burned before in other ventures).
What I received was probably one of the best deals I've gotten. The process of getting the first site running isn't too difficult, though if you aren't computer savvy it will take longer than "10 minutes." Know that I am hardly computer literate. It took me about an hour to get my first site on the net. Any problems I had because of my lack of knowledge was taken care of through the support system - and this is where the money is well spent!
I am extremely pleased with the support system. The administrators and the other BANS members are extremely helpful. They share knowledge, tips, and give guidance on how to make your site a success. Everybody wants to see everyone else succeed. It is quite the "family." Have a problem? Post a question in the forum and someone is likely to have the answer. Combine that with the fact that you may eventually end up with a multitude of sites, created the way you want them, in categories of exactly your choosing, for a one-time, low fee, and you can't find a better deal anywhere.
As for me, I have 5 stores with domain names ready to create 5 more. I've had the original 5 all running and indexed on the search engines for about 6 weeks. They are already paying for themselves and producing a profit. In fact, with what I've made in the first 6 weeks, my sites are paid for to run over the next year. Everything more will be profit and that profit should only increase, as my sites are continually optimized. No, I'm not a millionaire. I'm not making 100K per year. What I am making - BUILDING - is an internet business that will make me enough to not worry about finding the extra money I need to enjoy life!

I love this tool and can't wait for V3.0! I have created websites for a few years with Ebay Editor kit but that was very labor intensive and prone to errors. This interface is so easy and all the menu work is done automatically (a royal pain doing sites in html). The BANS script is better than the Editor Kit also because it is an RSS feed instead of javascript, so it acts like a content generator for search engines.

I've been using BANS for a month and have been impressed beyond whatever I could have imagined. I took three days before buying the script as it is an investment I had to think about. I recently closed my eBay store after 4 years of trading, and opened my first BANS store. Instead of long hours searching for stamps to resell, followed by hours spent listing, packing and posting, I can let others continue while I sit back and watch.
It took me less than an hour to have my first store up and running, now I spend a few hours per week fine-tuning the keywords and adding blog, and have fun experimenting with colour schemes.
The number of hits is steadily increasing, and I intend to open a couple more stores in 2008. With no formal training in html and other webmaster skills, friends said I would never be able to create a website. BANS has enabled me to prove them wrong, and it will also prove your friends wrong. Hello. My name is Michael Campbell, and I'm a BANSoholic. I have been on BANS for 3 or 4 weeks now. I have lost some of my friends due to BANS. I kept borrowing money from them for domains to support my habit. To date, I have had 3 DUIs (Designing under the influence) and I feel that I'm in a downward spiral. My family said that the current BANS that I am using and abusing is just a gateway product leading to those that are more intense: BANS 3.0, BANS 4.0, etc. I want to stop, but I can't! Bans is a very easy program to work with. The support is phenomenal.
I am a fairly experienced web developer who has been successful in that arena but never in a third party program. Money Making Program to be specific.
Although I have not made much money with it yet in the early going, I find plenty of additional information to assist me in my pathway to success. I have received a heavy stream of traffic so it is only a matter of time until I pull in some sales. Heck I make money on the Google Adsense daily so I know the visitors are reading the pages.
I kept it very simple with the design and only have two stores up. I plan on building at least a half a dozen stores in the near future sine I have able to procure some good domain names.
Once you get your first store up you will be addicted primarily with the whole concept.

I have owned a SBI (Site Build It) site for a couple of years and was looking for a new way to monetize it. I knew that eBay presented a great opportunity, however, when I included eBay auctions directly on my SBI site, it looked cluttered and my AdSense income dropped substantially. After reading just one story about BANS and checking out the site I had to try it out. I could not be more excited. BANS makes it possible for anyone to build a website, actually learn about writing HTML script and the possibilities of ways to use BANS are endless. The support is beyond great and the member's forum is worth the price of BANS alone. BANS does what a good script should do: It's easy, it works, and it makes money.
BANS can be set up as easily as Wordpress. The default website will be operational in under 10 minutes. Then you can customize your site to no end.
Customization includes adding product categories, narrowing the product selection, changing the theme (colors, layout, etc.), adding text to the pages to improve SEO, and adding ads from Adsense or affiliates.
Customization is the part that takes time. It is very similar to customizing a Wordpress blog, if you've done that. The setup is quick and easy. The customization process is easy, but writing content, adding images, adding ads, etc. all take time.
I've had BANS for under a month. I've already recouped the cost of buying BANS. Now I could either leave the stores to make more money while I do other things, improve my stores for increased traffic, or set up other stores. I plan to make my stores more visually appealing (add logos, etc.) and set up new stores.
I haven't tried other eBay API scripts, but I've been very happy with BANS and see no reason to try others.

After much deliberation - and stalling, I finally bought the bans script earlier this year - and I'm glad I did! For someone with no experience of site building (like me) it's brilliant. It took around 15 minutes to get my first site online and was earning money within a couple of weeks. My sites now earn money every single day, it's not a fortune but bear in mind that with 10,000's of ebay catagories and a hosting account like hostgator, you could have 100's of websites all earning 50 quid or more a week - well, you do the maths!
Not only is the script easy to use, but once you gain confidence it's pretty easy to make modifications and mess around with it, safe in the knowledge that if you make a mistake the forums are full of helpful friendly people!

Before purchasing the BANS script, I had tried dozens of online business opportunities. A few have produced great results, but none of them worked as quickly and as easily as the Build a Niche Store package. I've been amazed at the results I've obtained using this script.
I was skeptical at first because some of the testimonials seemed too good to be true. But I'm certainly glad I decided to give it a try. Build A Niche Store is an excellent product to get started developing your home based business. It is easy to master the basics and allows one to develope even a more detailed store.
I have sold on eBay my own personal products. I used their store but the monthly fees, final value fees and the constant search for product replacement requires a lot of work. I bought BANS on Friday December 8, 2007 and within 2 hours I had a basic store up and running and by Monday December 10, 2007 I had a fully customized BANS store up and running and ready for business.
The template system included with BANS is the easiest I have ever used from all of the different CMS systems I have used in no time at all I was able to convert an existing standard HTML template over to the BANS system and have my store fully customized.
I haven't made any sales as of yet (December 10, 2007) but I expect to have sales by next week as I begin to promote my BANS store and as soon as I have my first store up and running the way I want I will be building a new store as I have a million ideas in my head.
I recommend BANS for anybody new to internet marketing or to anyone who has been in the game for a while because it it easy enough for beginners while still having many of the features a seasoned pro will be expecting.

Yep, amaze others AND myself, that's what I did with my first BANS store! Even an old coot with a few loose cogs up the bonce like me can publish a shop with the BANS software... so what about you, and you, not to mention you? Yes, YOU! Sure, there's a learning curve, and initially some foul language may be uttered (I know I did - grin!), but the BANS forum is a pleasant surprise with lots of helpful guyz 'n gals running to ones aid. Sense of humor too, there. Now: what do I like the most about BANS? Difficult to say, because I mightily enjoy the whole package. But there's one thing that jumps out: you buy it once, and then use it for a dozen, a hundred, even a thousand stores. It's a steal. But don't tell them I said that!
