The BANS admin panel has a built in “Ads” section which enables you to place supplementary advertisements either:
- Above or below your product listings.
- In the left or right navigation of your store template.
Our motto is – the eBay products are for the buyers and the supplementary
ads for the browsers.
Because of the fact that not everyone who visits your store will buy an eBay listed item these ads act as a valuable secondary income stream and you can easily change and test the conversion of different types and styles of ads from inside your BANS admin panel.
BANS members principally use two different kinds of ads:
Contextual Advertising Programs
Programs like Google AdSense will analyze the content on each page that you place them on and then serve relevant ads. As the keyword rich eBay product content on your store is readable by their “spiders”, these programs can be a great way to bring super targeted offers from other companies direct to your store visitors.
Affiliate Banners
Large affiliate networks like Commission Junction, LinkShare
and ClickBank contain large amounts of advertisers targeted
to different niches. By signing up for a free account with these networks and
searching through their advertiser database using your niches principal keywords
you’ll soon find lots of reputable companies offering great products and
services which compliment your store.
